Long time no talk. The North Face of San Jacinto (aka the Snow Creek area) has some pretty impressive looking canyons and one fall that is at least 200ft tall. But the access..

Just stay off section 33 on your trip and you're golden with the DWA. Stay out of private property in the village and you're golden with the community.

There is a guy I know that's done that canyon several times without ropes and he says its a 16+ hour hike from Carumba. There are ways to avoid the big drop-offs, but that wouldn't be very fun!! JK

Remember to notify the Cahuilla Rangers of your plans and be prepared for the worst case scenario.
