If you are heading up to the Tramway, ignore the High Wind Warning set in place by the National Weather Service San Diego.
This High Wind Warning should not included the area. This is an offshore Santa Ana Wind Event and winds of high wind measure do not travel uphill from the northeast ... they lose momentum and slow down.
The winds will blast on the WEST side of the San Jacinto Mtn as they sink down, including anyone driving through the Banning Pass.
The Mountain and Valley Station will both be breezy and nice day, with passing high clouds, thick at times due to an upper level disturbance missing us to the east, which is creating these winds.
So again, ignore that warning. I currently have no warnings at PSAT Weather ... No large storm systems or major wind events are in the area or scope at the time ...
Have a good weekend ...
