Woops - you mean those twenty dollar Yakitracks are worthless? Haven't used 'em yet just carried them up there twice and was too lazy to bend over to put them on at that point, rather just suffer a little and be upright. I can still return them - - You think? I was wondering why they were so cheap...

Small spikes would be okay in the spring time on gentle trails. I think the ones with coils are mostly for flat sidewalks and roads.

Thanks for the info. Theyt were the only ones at REI that day, didn't realize there was another model. Must do better research next time...
