Congratulations Sam, Patrick and Zach. What an awesome trip.
I remember hearing about your reconnosance of April 2010.
Tonight the snow level is supposed to drop down to 2500 feet, so you got this in just in time.

Nice. So your return route was across the ridge...is it pretty direct and as obvious as it looks on the map? Also, what made you guys choose to drop down into the ravine as you started? I would probably have been to wimpy to do it that way. Well done, you crazy hikin' fools!

Yes, we descended straight down Fuller Ridge until we intersected the PCT. It's very straightforward, albeit brushy. I had ascended that ridge before, so I knew what to expect. And we chose to downclimb into the couloir, because the alternative is starting from the desert floor, which seems extremely challenging.
