I would be happy to place a cache if I had a high profile vehicle to get up the darn dirt road to the Fuller Ridge trailhead

My Honda Accord coup bottoms out on that road.

I had a little snow two years ago when I did this hike but it was not a proble
The only thing I had to deal with was a bit of ice. I almost slipped, hit my head and died but other than that it was good.

Howdy Hal

I'll never forget reading your wonderful trip report -- its one of the reasons I wanted to do the PCT to tram hike. And then I went to the wrong trailhead twice :roll:

Assuming conditions permit this hike on Sunday Nov 13, at least I'll know my way to the trailhead :wink:

Sally asked me to double-check our starting point on my way home from Palm Springs this weekend :lol:

Unless we get a monster storm, I don't think the little bit of snow we've gotten will make it too bad. I'm kinda wondering if the cache is frozen solid though.

I was looking at the 10 day forecast for San Bernadino and next week end does not look good for hiking. Hopefully it will be better for Palm Springs
