Cy: Are you going to be out there on Saturday?

It's going to be a busy day Saturday - My guess is there will be a long queue going up the hill. I don't much enjoy crowded trails anymore, but the weather looks perfect and I have to do Skyline twice each year - once in the fall and once in the spring just to see how much slower I keep getting.

Skyline November 10

Postby Carl F » Tue Nov 01, 2011 7:27 pm

Not to change the subject but I am going to do skyline, maybe C2C if I'm still feeling well, on Thursday November 10. Am I likely to have much in the way of crowds? Seems like Saturday is pretty crazy. Also, I uploaded someones' (thanks to this board) GPX to my GPS. So although I'm less worried about going my first time there (alone), I expect I really won't be that alone, am I right?

Love it! I knew I could get the help I need on this board.

Actually, I did have that thought. And by the way HJ I read all your columns, trip reports here and everywhere and I love them all!

Question is, can he show me the way to the top?
