I'm doing a C2C and riding the tram down Saturday, then Sunday I'm taking a group of friends out to Carey's Castle in Joshua Tree.

I really don't wanna go solo again so if anyone wants to meet up at the art museum Saturday morning, I'll be there around 4:30-5am.

Yeah, I had some last spring...bought some from a nursery in Indio. I've been planting it all around Snow Creek this summer where the DWA boys scamper about. Figured it might keep 'em home where they belong this fall.

But seriously, yes, I've had it a bunch of times - before I knew what it looked like, I actually rigged a zip line going through a thicket of it...yes, I'm really that brilliant.

I bought all the soap and stuff that's supposed to work, and nothing did. I've heard that making tea from manzanita leaves helps, but I can't tell you for sure if it does.

That's some crazy rock climbing you're getting into! Amazing! Is that where you got the poison oak?

If it's a large area get a cortisone shot from your doctor. Don't wait.
