"Snow" on San Gorgonio

Postby zippetydude » Thu Sep 15, 2011 4:53 pm

There was a picture posted over on the San G board right after one of the thunderstorms that looked like it had snowed:

Most of us figured it was hail, but it was fun to go up and check it out this morning. I went up Vivian - here's a link with a few pics.

Coming back down Vivian, I kept thinking about how much I love the Tram after a Skyline trip. I'm looking forward to being back over on San J this fall, see you all soon.

I was on top of Gorgonio Sat 9/17 .
The ground was clear and dry except for a few small remaining patches underneath the rocks on the peak.
