Final Details for Get Together this Saturday

General Palm Springs area.

I am going to have to drive up on Saturday morning. Rather than take a car with no passengers up the dirt road, I would prefer to meet the group at Barton Flats and hitch a ride to the trailhead. (Alternatively, I could give a ride to a couple of people.) What time do I need to arrive at Barton Flats?

Figure maybe 10 - 15 minutes early. It's a nice straight section of highway most of the way from Barton Flats to Heart Bar, then about 5 minutes for that short, 1 mile stretch on the dirt road. Maybe we can both convince Steve to drive us, since I'll only have the RV. Strangely, I once saw a 20'+ RV at the Fish Creek Trailhead. How they got it back there I'll never quite understand.

When I posted with the latest update, I also put it in as the first post in this thread so you don't have to scroll through to try and find the most recent info. When I go up and get space(s) on Thursday morning, I'll post the space number(s) in this thread, page 1, as the very first post. (Check out the first post in this thread and you'll see what I mean.)

Not sure if I can make it :( I'm supposed to stay out of the sun for a while...might need to wear one of those funny duck masks from now on...
