Question for the elevation number crunchers

Postby mattytreks » Thu Jun 16, 2011 9:49 pm

Does anyone know exactly how much elevation is gained on that last section of Skyline -- from the "arrow" rock cairn at the bottom of the steep chute to the top at Grubb's Notch?

I bet Ellen or Bluerail or Cy knows :)

I was just curious...

FYI I'm heading up on Saturday, 6/18. Probably a 2:30-3AM start from the Museum. Hope to run into some of the regulars there again.

We're going up via Snow Creek/Fuller Ridge on sat, maybe we'll find you near the top.

Howdy Mathew :)

I believe you're talking about the climb from Coffman's Crag to Grubbs Notch. It's a 400 ft gain.

Miles of smiles,
