It took me 12 years of hiking Skyline before I was able to avoid the siren call of the tram station (er...the beer at the tram bar) and do the "full monty."

Hiking alone on a fairly remote low-occupancy trail is never a good idea, you never know.

Worse idea is summitting and going all the way back down this C2C route... won't do that again!
