rescue box #1 on Skyline needs restocking

I went by rescue rescue box #1 on Skyline about 4 am on May 29, and the contents were all strewn around on the ground, space blanked crumpled up, etc. I assume it's volunteers who keep these things stocked? Hope this info reaches the right people -- and thanks for your efforts!!

There was a guy rescued this past weekend, so what you saw may have some legitimacy. Hope it gets restocked soon.

Is it PS Mounted that stocks it? DSSAR? RMRU?

everythings dealt with as of sun 4:30 am. . ...odd people would walk by and not have at least takin it upon themselves to have at least gotten the strewn stuff into the box and out of the wind. I do realize some people walk right past trash on the trail and don't bother to pick it up though.

Howdy All

Thanks to the Dynamic Duo (Steve and Fern) for trying to keep the rescue boxes stocked

Unfortunately, the boxes are continually raided by lazy gutless wonders Not only do they drink the fluids, they leave the empty bottles for others to pack out

Hikers on Skyline should be entirely self-sufficent and have NO EXPECTATIONS of finding water on the route.

Imagine someone being dehydrated and suffering from heat exhaustion. They struggle to reach the 5.5 K rescue box or Saint Florian's cache and find nothing. Water is the difference between life and death on Skyline.
