ive done the c2c about 7 times, making it to the peak one of those times. im going to be leading a group of at least 8 on sunday, including my 62 year old mom. she is in great shape, she has done 15-20 mile hikes, but nothing like this elevation gain, i will let her set the pace. 3 of the other 8 have done c2c before. heres my ? will the wind make it nuts? not planning on summiting.

Rode by the museum this morning and there were a ton of cars parked near the trailhead. Blustery day. Hope everyone is okay up the trail today.

my mom kicked butt, it took us 8 and a half hours, wind wasnt bad at all, in fact it was a perfect day, tons of people on the trail, only used about a half a gallon
