Trail conditions for SJ Summit via Marion Mountain

Planning a climb up to the SJ summit from Idyllwyld via the Marion Mountain trail and was wondering the current conditions anyone help would be greatly appreciated.

Dude. I'm wondering the same thing. Hopefully someone who has been up there in the last week or so will pick up on this thread. I'm fairly certain that you will be postholing above 10K. I'm interested to know if there is much snow in and around Little Round Valley? Have read some PCT hiker journals and they are still hitting snow on Fuller Ridge.

Yes, I am also hiking to Round Valley then to the peak for a little weekend trip. Hoping for clear trails and minimal post holing. Any trail/ground condition update would be great. The rangers don't seem to have the latest or most accurate info. Thanks!
