Looking for a trail report for Skunk Cabbage meadows

Hi All

I'm planning on doing a quick overnight backpack on the forest service side and was looking to get a report on the trail conditions and how the area around skunk meadows is looking.


Has anybody hiked through there lately? Is there still snow on the ground or will I be able to camp?

Was up there last week. Very little snow left and I suspect it is all gone by now. Plenty of water. No ferns yet. Just a few green shoots. May see you out there this weekend. Have fun.

Thanks Ulysses. I was up there a few weeks ago and it was still a mess. I'm going to go up and camp at Tahquitz or SK Meadow and hike around next weekend. How did it look up Tahquitz and/or down the PCT? I'm considering making a loop out of it and maybe going down the PCT to Anstell Rock and cutting down at the Zen center.
