You guys are the best, in good times, and in bad. Our friend passed away a few days ago after a 20 year battle with cancer. She came and stayed at our house just a couple days before her final trip to the hospital. Because she was a diabetic, she always had to stay away from sweets, which she dearly loved. While at our house, she somehow (!) got hold of some forbidden candy, and I helped her sneak a fudgesicle. (The doctor said it was okay, as the diabetes was not her greatest risk anymore.) It was fun, scandalous, and bittersweet.

Anyway, thank you all for your support in this strange thread. Ivette and I are making final checks for Prom (our 17 year old) and other conflicts, and then I'll post and we'll get this thing rockin'. I'll talk to you all, and see you all, real soon.

Sorry for your loss Zip if she was able to spend time at your place near the end she must have had a smile, your are good people and that's what's needed near the end. I'll say a prayer for her and your family.
