Tram to Round Valley

Hey all! Its been months since Ive been up there but Im looking to take a couple little first timers up to round valley from the tram. On April 16-17. How are the conditions? Will we be marching on snow? Mud?

hard to say, the snow right now is crunchy and post holish. big part depends on the weather this week and next.
i know that doesn't help much but i would check back.

Yeah, looks like were gonna have to find another venue with the kiddos. Cant wait till it clears up a bit for those of us less experienced.

Howdy,

You may be able to take the regular trail (in hiking boots or good shoes) to Round Valley this weekend. Yesterday I hiked with Indie Jack almost to Round Valley before cutting through the snow to Tamarack Valley -- the main trail was nicely packed down and not icy.
