I went out the wash, starting at Vons/rimrock plaza in palm springs (Eagle canyon i think its called) to Wildhorse, fern, vanderventer, south fork. n back

--Dint like this, so I skipped this trail, if theres no chance of seeing cute mnt bikers why run on and hike single-tracks??? ha





--Cool rocky wash on way back, fun to climb around in n goof off









--and back to Palm Springs, my house is about 48 palm trees to the north, lol

The flowers are really blooming, saw a ton on a hike on San Jac today, plus the clouds are wild!

Great pics, especially of the clouds. I noticed last year that when those yellow flowers bloomed, the bees were out in force. I've never seen/heard so many bees. I even got stung twice.

just some lil baby gopher snakes. the red diamonds dont come out til its a little bit warmer. i dont worry bout em too much, the red diamonds are the fat lazy rattlers, i walked past em all the time last spring. you gotta really do something annoying to them to get em to bite you. ha. there are some mean ass speckleds in the area sometimes though, but they're safe for the opposite reason, they are so pissy n paranoid that theyll rattle super loud b4 youre even close to em. just dont stick yer hands in rock crevasses before looking n you should be safe

and i dont think western/pacific diamonds live down here in the desert, ive only seen them up above idyllwild.

I laid on a rock yesterday and just stared into the sky looking at the clouds for over an hour..so relaxing
