I am hosting a Geocaching CITO (Cache In, Trash Out) Event here in Riverside on Box Springs Mountain picking up trash :D Looks like the weather will break for it with temps in the middle 50's hopefully it will be clear enough to see all the mountains around with the new snow..

Im going through the desert. From Vons to Murray Peak-fern-hahn buena vista n around ...or maybe i'll take vanderventer once im out there, or cut across indian canyon n cruz along west fork trail. Thats the nice thing bout once you get to the peaks south side...theres lotsa options depending on yer mood..u can come if u like. i will mostly be walking, might run a lil bit on the sandy flat parts. itll be about 15-18 miles, maybe 20 :D should take 5-ish hours, maybe more...i never know til i get out there, ha. i will stop for lunch someplace (if u or anyone wants to come, but not run, thats fine, ive already got in 44 miles this week, so walking mite be nice 8) )

You did a lot better than me, Tina! I got a little carried away on my mountain bike, thought I could take a turn a little faster than I could, and did an impression of Superman flying through the handlebars. Unfortunately, I ended up landing like a lawn dart. I couldn't walk, hike, run or bike all weekend. I didn't break anything, just sore. But hey, on the bright side, it was a spectacular crash!
