hey Phantom,
April can have snow as low as 7-8k, or very little at higher elevations, just depends on the year.
Last couple, we had about 60% overage around the tram, and of course, a lot more higher up.
Skyline, (1st 1/2 of c2c, if you can call it that), might be runnable / hike-able without much problem, could even be a bit hot from the beginning to 5 or 6k, be prepared with a gallon & electro-lytes.
Keep checking this board for conditions.
BTW, some of the better runners can only really run about 1/3 of Skyline, the 2nd 1/2 to the peak, (w/out snow), is more gradual & runnable.
