Howdy All :)

Don't forget you'll need a new trail sweep as I'll be in Boston

Enjoy the challenge of the Terrible Two and please don't get injured.

Miles of smiles,
Ellen

Sorry - a friend wants to do the back-to-back on Sunday, so I'll be going with him instead of Saturday. So don't look for me.

tinaballina - thanks for inspiring me to do the double!

best to all

A 4 am start for my single Skyline tomorrow. A nice slow slog should keep the temperature around 60 degrees all the way up for me - just perfect.

well... looks like I'm gonna miss running into you AGAIN !!

..maybe someday I'll be lucky and see you on the trail.

btw, all your shortcuts are still there, but you need to take up some ornaments for the tree.

Doing the double/triple yesterday was alot of fun, small group but really enjoyable group. We also had a program director that kept us on schedule :

everyone was all smiles in the morning: Image

this was pretty much the whole crew: Cherie, Jeremy,Fernando, Carmen and Tina Image

trying to get to the Tram after doing 25,000' :Image

BTW Zip, you would have gotten in PLENTY workout time with Fern and I..4:45, 5, 4:45...on trail 14.5 hours, total time (shuttle and misc.) 18 hrs. Where were you !?

I missed out this year...that's bad with this crazy crew! I got stuck working on my car (dead) til midnight on Friday, finally squeezed in a quick 20 today.

Congrats to all you crazy people who did one, two, or three out there on a reallly tough trail. You're all nuts!

Maybe a few hikin' fools wanna do the PCT next weekend? Now that Steve and Fern are 3 time losers like me, maybe try 4 next year? Also, I'm still wanting to do the PCT from Whitewater up to Mission Creek - never got it in last year...

I'll be out Palm Springs way at least one day next weekend...so I hope to see some of you soon.

Again, congrats. Nothing's easy about Skyline. Well done.

ps this is cat hi steve! 8)
