Howdy 111laotzu :)

Congratulations! Good to see you on the trail again. I'm the blonde that said hi on the Never Ending Ridge at Florian's cache. Talk about doing Skyline the hard way -- first time in a blizzard and then in warm, dry weather.

I've decided that Fern and Steve (the dynamic duo) must have alien DNA, they are too fast to be homo sapiens. Z-dude is so fast  I didn't even see him pass me yesterday

I think we met in the parking lot the morning of the May blizzard on Skyline. I ran into your hiking buddy (having a brain cramp, can't recall his name) on the traverse. He kindly bought me a beer at the bar.

Look forward to seeing you again on the trail 8) My favorite Skyline weather is when it's in the high 50's at the museum but not too cold in Long Valley. As Cy the Skyline King says, "Winter weather without the snow."

Miles of smiles,
Ellen

Ellen: How did that happen? I've learned some of Steve and Fern's steeper routes - maybe on one of these I passed without seeing you?

Was that you zipping past me on Skyline in the dark with the three other guys yesterday?
