take a change of socks...maybe you can trick your feet into thinking they just got started when you're already 10 hrs in.
On long trips, it's amazing the difference it makes.

Dan, the Sid Davis route has enough of a use trail for you to get to Tamarack Camp pretty easily. From Tamarack, though, it's a bit trickier. There's a faint path that leads past the farthest camp site up the draw through the meadowy area and connects to the old trail. If you're handy with a map and compass it's not that big of a deal, but if you're looking to follow a path, I don't think this would be a good option.drndr wrote:Is the sid davis trail used enough thru the summer that there may be a decent trail to follow to the peak?
