Nice review Wingman. My sister just picked up a similar pack for hiking the PCT and swears by it. It's amazing how light and functional those packs are.

Don't see many external frames on the PCT anymore. Look forward to seeing how it works out.

I like external frames. I'm hoping for more choices soon.

@asabat, did you see New Knees? He was carrying a Luxurylite. Also, when Evan, Karen and I reached Lake Morena there was a southbound hiker carrying an external frame. You're right though, that's not many at all.
