Tramway closure extended (Notice to Skyline hikers)

Postby Florian » Sun Sep 19, 2010 6:27 pm

Tramway closure has been extended until Monday, 10/4. Anyone planning a Skyline hike and wanting a ride down on the tram should call and check that the tram has reopened prior to your hike .. 888-515-TRAM.

Now i need to go up and change the date on the notices i posted at the bottom of the Skyline last week.

Thanks for the update, my friends and I were planning on going up on the 3rd and notice the signs posted said the 25th it should be operational. I guess we are going to have to reschedule for the next weekend :x .

Also thanks for all the other info posted here it's made allot of difference in how we have prepared for c2c. After our trip to about 5k and back down this last saturday i have allot more respect for that trail then just looking at it on a map.

I'm going up to box #1 again on Friday to put up a new sign. Probably won't get back to box #2 until the C2C2C thing on the 9th.
