A view of San Jacinto with this early fall coming on

Not a fancy camera, just my phone, but I thought it was a beautiful view. This was taken about 9:00 this morning from the hills behind my house in Yucaipa. It's 58 degrees and cloudy on September 8. I'm lovin' this weather. I bet Ellen is having a great time too!

bluerail: Nope, no hooky. The trail is only 2.5 each way, so it's pretty quick. Looks like I'm a million miles from nowhere, doesn't it? Gotta love the local stuff that we're spoiled with every day.

Remember when you had accidentally ended up on Jean Peak a couple weeks before?

And I thought that was so funny?

Then I run off into the snow, aiming for San Jacinto Peak and end up on Jean Peak myself! Ahh, the ironies of life. I thought it was doubly amusing that when I had to cross country back to San J, I ran into you and Joe - well ahead of me - on the correct course!

Hey, I still owe you that birthday beer...Skyline season is just ahead...maybe when we're all out there on Oct 9! In any case, see you out there soon!
