San Jacinto Weather in November

Postby Chrisan82 » Mon Aug 30, 2010 3:26 pm

I'm interested in taking a backpacking trip to San Jacinto peak from the tramway in late Novemeber and am wondering if there will be any snow. I've never been up there around that time of year, so I am unsure. Anyone have any experience with this?

Whether or not you'll get snow depends on the year. Some years there's snow by Halloween. Other years, there's not much snow until December. I'd say snow is likely in late November, but again, you just have to wait and see.

Snow or no snow, it's typically quite chilly at night. Watch for ice at stream crossings.
