overall I would say moderate.

somewhat warm at the start, but then we got up a bit and along the west side of the ridge and so we were covered from sun for a while.

once we cross Falls creek we were exposed more or less until ~ 2000 from the summit, as the sun was overhead...so this section went from warmer to moderate. at about 9000 or 3pm the sun started getting blocked by the west side and it got nice and cool.

My pack is actually on the heavy side for a pack that size...I'm just kinda cautious of what I put in it.

I'm in but I would want to start in the wee hours of a full moon so I get to higher elevations while it's still cool :D

Hi Ze & Steve,

Thanks for that great TR, I'm salivating over that climb now.
Those over hanging snow chutes & caves are surreal!
I'm sure this is a total ass-kicker, but that should be obvious to those who know this mountain.

Thanks

thanks.

yes it's awesome. but I may have opened pandora's box with my TR. I see elsewhere that some people are getting interested b/c of it, but lord knows if they are ready for it. I'm gonna have to add some scary text at the beginning.
