I'd like to hike C2C, but don't know the trail. I understand it's a bit warm now, but would love to join a group at the earliest convenience. Please advise.

A "bit" warm? lol.

Mike, the standard advice is to avoid C2C in the summer. There have been to many heat casualties, some resulting in death. The next good window of opportunity is probably October. Stay tuned to the forum. As fall approaches, the "chatter" about C2C will pick up again. If you search recent posts, I think you'll see that no one is talking about C2C this time of year except perhaps to respond to questions to new comers.

Take care,

Thank you Jim. It is clear to me that it is too hot these days. I hope that with my previous message I was able to plant a seed for those going to do this hike in the fall.
