Cornell Peak 100%!!!

Rode up the 8:30am tramcar this morning with neverwashasbeen (Cameron) and Roy and we went all the way to the top of Cornell Peak! My first time to actually make the Cornell summit and my first time ever climbing with ropes! What a great time! Even had some light rain sprinkles today.

I always check the tramway bar for any Skyline bums needing a ride down. Today the bar was full of people i didn't recognize watching soccer! Oh well.

Probably not. I enjoy hiking alone too much. Climbing is more a group thing. At least when there is belay involved.

Rats, I would have loved to been up there...I see from the pics why that last section is spooky - the climbing part doesn't look bad, but the exposure looks nasty! Thanks for the pics and video. Nice job on the climb.

Boy and howdy. The N face of Cornell is a drop that goes down a thousand feet or more. You are exposed when you're up on top of that rock. Up top, for the last dozen feet or so, there ain't much in the way of handholds.
