Hey everyone,

I'm new to the message board & want to first thank you all for the abundant information and t/r's!!

I'm an experienced hiker but a total newbie to the C2C. If thats ok with you guys, I would love to join you on this hike.

btw - i will prolly bail at the tram & skip the last "C". im 27 so my knees aren't the issue....i just HATE hiking downhill

It's that last C that really turns it into something different Andy. I'm a tram rat...but once in a while, you gotta experience that whole trip.

You are more than welcome to join us for C2C2C on October 9th. Bluerail is right though...that last C is what makes this especially challenging and special. Think it over and maybe join us for the "fun" downhill

I'm all about "fun" that includes punishing myself physically & pushing myself mentally. October is a few months away & I just might re-consider yet...especially if there are awesome people encouraging me to do so on the mountain

I would like to give it a try. I've done Onion Valley to Roads End in Kings Canyon and back in a day and will be trying Onion Valley to Whitney Portal in a day soon. How do you sign up?.......................DUG

There is no sign up....we will all be meeting at the museum parking lot at the given time (see my initial note entry). We are thinking smaller groups and you can really start anytime close to that time. I'll be posting something again once we get much closer to the date.
