Steve, you're not going to believe this. But I saw my 1st ever BlackRail relieve itself in the LA River! And I'll testify to that fact, even though the pics were only good enuf for a positive ID...

Whoops. I almost forgot. Happy Father's Day!

Hey, Steve,

They got nothin' on ya. A posting, clearly meant for humor, on an internet board is not evidence. This is just harassment. Counter sue them for harassment. That should get their attention.

I've never had any enmity towards the DWA, but I do now. I can't believe the stunts they've pulled -- intimidating people while wearing militia uniforms. They're lucky they haven't been shot in self defense. What a bunch of creeps.

I am thinking we need to get a group together July 4th (say 2am start time) for one last ascent up SC. The snow has melted pretty good so this will be the last weekend to do it. see you at the secret location.

I think it'll turn out OK, Steve. You haven't actually done anything wrong. You haven't trespassed nor have you polluted a public water supply or anything of that nature. Get ya a good lawyer. Slap 'em with a harassment suit. They can't serve you with papers when they literally have no evidence that you've ever done even one thing wrong. Serving papers out of the clear blue sky is just that, harassment. They've crossed the line, not you.

Thanks for the concern Jim, I appreciate it. I just want to get out from under this at this point.

Make sure you shoot video of the non-native, cultivated plants for evidence!

Tinaballina - I have at least four people interested, maybe five, I'll send you a PM for carpooling and details. I'll bring some extra gear to get past that one section.

Well, good at his job, not good like Mother Teresa. I mean we are talking about a lawyer here. They hate it when people call them "good" -- it ruins their reputation.

You're welcome for the concern. I really pisses me off that they would target you. You're the one person who has gone out of his way to pioneer new routes such that you respect their private property. What a bunch of BS. If they target trespassers, OK, I can kind of understand that. But you're the one who has taken round-about, difficult routes through heavy brush just so you wouldn't impinge on them. Grrr. to the DWA. I get it that you don't want trespassers, but you DWA guys have lost your sense of perspective. I mean what are you thinking?
