I put descriptions on the photos, click
here. We camped overnight at the trailhead, set out at 8am along Fuller Ridge. The trail starts on the east side of the ridge, then crosses to the west, then back and forth again. The scenery is beautiful but some people don't like losing the elevation they just gained. Not too many snow crossings on the PCT, but the streams were rushing before we hit the Deer Springs trail. Saw Hughes on the way up to Little Round Valley, had lunch at 2. 4 decided to nap, the 7 others climbed the BRUTAL switchbacks, hit the peak just before 5, played in the snow and got back in time for dinner at 6:30. Hiked 4 hours the next morning back to the cars, doing an hour of trail work on the PCT removing branches and clearing trail. All in all I liked the trail for the scenery, but it is longer than the Marion Mountain trail we did last year.
