I really had a fantastic time hiking with everyone! It was great to see my hiking buddies and meet some new folks as well. I enjoyed sharing the magnificent mountain with you all. What a great idea it was to get so many people together. I'd love to do something like that again some time!

nice tr Patrick and a great hike everyone. nice running into everyone and meeting people I'd wish I'd known for a lot longer time...a really fun group.
Been busy since saturday, there were, after all, two more days of hiking to get in.. will try and get a couple group shots up this afternoon. Thanks again to everyone.

Howdy All :)

A belated congratulations to Tracie on completing her first Skyline 8) I believe this was the second Skyline for several folks -- EMan, Lilbitmo, Don, and Sally.

We really lucked out on the weather -- we're back to the desert inferno this weekend

Hi Everyone!
Thank you for the great TR's Patrick and Ellen. I think you told it like it was.

Hiking with such a fine group of people was truly an honor. It was great meeting new friends and getting to see those of you I've met this year.

I had so much fun that I can't wait 'til the next group adventure. When I was on the final mile I was thinking "No way could I do this back-to-back!" and now I'm thinking "How can I get in shape for back-2-back next fall?"

Howdy Sallly :)

Always enjoy hiking with you, my friend 8) It was great to meet Larry and have lunch with you both. Love the new picture -- were we together on that snowshoe trip?

Hi Ellen! It was a pleasure hiking with you, too, my friend, and thank you for sticking close by.
I think Larry feels better about me hanging out with all you crazies now that he has met you all.
I've been wanting to use that picture as my avatar since the day you and I summitted San J on Valentines day, right after a fresh snow. Wasn't that a great day? It took Larry and me over an hour trying to make the pic fit the requirements to make it work on my profile, and Larry is pretty technologically savvy.

Thank you, Don. While we're sweltering this summer we can look at my new avatar and dream...

By the way, my apologies to anyone who I may have posted a not-so-flattering picture of on Skyline last weekend (like the one of Ellen yawning - It was a good depiction of what lack of sleep will do to you!)
