Hello all,
I have been enjoying all your messages for the past couple of months and am finally going to try the skyline for the first time this Friday. We'll be on the trail at around 4am. Looking forward to it and to meeting any of you on the trail. A little nervous about the rattlers but I'm sure we'll make it through just fine. See ya up there!

Welcome to the message board. I have not heard of anyone being bitten by rattlers yet. If you are not running you should have plenty of time to see them.
Most of us go on week ends, but when I went on Fridays a couple of times, i sometimes saw other hikers.
