Yeah, i realize we'll have bright moonlight so probably won't need supplemental lighting at all. But was still a good excuse to buy something.

The moon will transit (be at its highest) around 2a on Saturday and will be visible until dawn around 5a.

I have to agree with you -- on the moonrise-- not the beer consumption.

May 28 Palm Springs

Sunrise: 5:37am
Sunset: 7:48pm
Moonrise: 8:59pm
Moonset: 5:59am

Since some snow fell last weekend, should I expect to need winter gear for Skyline or is it traversible in just plain boots now?

So yeah... seriously thinking about going up this weekend. Not sure we can pull off the full moon adventure, but we'd be heading up early early Saturday morning.
