Hi Pitownpi,

Thanks for the TR, looking forward to getting up San G fairly soon.
That looked like a nice glissade, (while playin the guitar I presume!).

That would have been some arresting guitar playing.

Hey Pi, cool pix. How did you get to the trailhead? I can't imagine the road being open yet...? That would be one long walk out the road.

Hey, from where you live, have you ever gone up San G from the east either xc or on the PCT?

ps By the way, daddylonglegs, my kids always groan and roll their eyes when I make observations like that, but I thought it was well spoken.

very nice looking trip...you have to be one of the few people i've run across carrying a musical instrument bigger than a whistle. I used to do alot of riding up in burns and pipes...back then I had a legal KTM, now I have an XC without a plate. I wondered if you perhaps lived up along the road in the canyon or actually back down in Pitown. Beautiful country up there and I'm with zip wondering about some of the other trips from up there. sounds like your interested in some nutty stuff. nice

we've got to get together and do a trip sometime. -steve

Certainly agree with Perry on this. For years we had no laws in Alaska on Pot. There was no problem with illegal search and seizure, no smuggling across borders etc. In comes the laws and we have had massive issues with people making tons of money and all the crap that goes along with it ever since.

Lastly, makes for interesting question concerning how watchful people were of our Snow Creek climbers. . .
Hike in the Alaska midnight sun, ascend 10K ft through Haleakala on Maui...email me at sidsprojects@yahoo.com

That must look real funny, a couple pick-ups driving around with a bed full of pot plants.
Would be pretty funny to see the look on a CHP or local PD's face if he was following these guys, not realizing they were govmt. workers!

Maybe just park in front of Las Casuelas for lunch in DT PS!
