Good news everyone....I spoke with the folks at the PS Aerial Tramway and the tram will be open for our October 9th C2C2C extravaganza.

We chose wisely...the Tram will be closed from September 13-October 1. One benefit of doing this while the tram is down however is you hardly see anyone.

I'm glad I read your post. The full Cactus-to-Clouds, Car-to-Car, or what I call the "C2C Squared" was discussed here last fall But, by the time I made plans it had already started snowing. I put it on my calendar for the next Fall, September 26, 2010. But reading your post today I realized that having the tram as a "bail-out" option won't be available then. So I'm changing my date to October 9th. The fall is definitely the best time of year, not too hot and no need to carry snow gear. The hours of daylight will be getting short by then so make sure your headlamp has fresh batteries.

Great !! This gives me a reason to train even harder !! The time frame from 2am to about 6pm will work fine for me....but I hope we can get at least 15 people so we can break into some small groups.....and Hi Kathy...haven't seen you for a long time.

We are 5 months out for C2C2C...Saturday October 9th is the set date.
