if you read the book (or even if you didn't) please read Anatoli Boukreev's more precise account of the season and the incidents in The Climb.

I read Into Thin Air and also Anatoli's book. He was a beast.
Sucks that Krakhead pans him when he was the only one doing anything and his efforts went far and above what anyone could ever hope someone could try and do in that situation.

krakhead. :twisted: love it! i knew after reading Anatoli's book i would never read another Krakhead book again. i don't trust him.
