Another water question: Is it feasible to bring no water and just drink run-off all the way to the snow tongue, and then fill bottles there?

I never heard of anyone doing Snow Creek and Skyline on the same week end (until now) WOW - Zero recovery time from Snow Creek/SJ. That is amazing.
I hate to ask what you guys climbed yesterday :)

Steve & Fern - It was great climbing with you.

Here are my pictures:

I included a Google map & Topo map of the route Rick and I took. I also have a little description at the top. Maybe Rick will have a better description of the route soon.

Great climb you guys! Now, if I can just get any of these websites hosting your photos to actually serve them with any sort of reasonable response time / reliability, that would be nice  Must be about a million people trying to access them all at the same time

Sorry Norris. Smugmug's website went down last night and so did my pictures. You should be able to view them now.

Thanks, I got to them this morning! Cool route variation, that palm oasis looks amazing! And you guys are in amazing shape to start in broad daylight and still finish around the same time as people who start at 2:00 am or whatever! Wow...
