Weather Forecasts for Upcoming Months?

Postby Matt_B » Thu Mar 11, 2010 11:20 pm

Hi there,
I'm new to this site and new to the Mt San Jacinto area. I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of some reliable long term weather forecasts for San Jacinto. I'm hoping to backpack around San Jacinto during the second week of April, but the weather in Southern California has been pretty stormy lately. So I was curious what the recent storms mean for the snow levels on San Jacinto's peak and surrounding areas.
Thank you!
Matt

Hi Matt, welcome to the board.

This site is pretty good: http://www.wunderground.com/

I am sure some others from the board will have a couple more to add.

Have fun!

I think it's a safe bet there will be a lot of snow still on the ground at that time. In a year like this, it's conceivable for snow to persist through May.
