New Member w/ a couple of questions

General Palm Springs area.

Hi Ze, that's what I have-the free California Topo. Took a while to figure out how to use it, but it seems pretty detailed and it was free, so can't complain.

I created a route from the Tram Station to Round Valley using MapSource and trandferred that to my GPS, and that seemed to work too.

There is another Garmin program called Basecamp, but I couldn't get it to load on my computer for some reason, so don't know what it looks like. I think it does similar things to MapSource.

Hut was looking pretty reasonable today, somebody did some housekeeping, insulating mats hanging over a rafter, bunks free of powder snow, looking pretty dry inside. Warm weather last few days, no doubt.

Buying a car in Canada, as an Australian backpacker with a working visa.?
I am looking to buy a car in Toronto, then drive to Winnipeg. What is required in purchasing a car? Registration etc.

I had a working VISA once. Then the company got mad when I didn't send in that payment thingy. Now it's not a working VISA any more. :(

Z maybe he saw the backtobactoback Skylines trip reports from Nov. and thought you were a car salesman going over 100 mph :D
