poison oak

I fought the oozing and blisters for about 3 weeks. All the oatmeal and home cures didn't work. A quick dose of prednisone by the doctor cured me. (you get into an autoimmune cycle that he wanted to break)

I thought i was being cautious and smart in avoiding medicine; turns out i knew nothing about poison oak...its horrible

That poison oak is NASTY. I have a couple little spots that have shown up near some scratches but that is awful. Mine is nothing bad. The scratches are getting to the point where they itch.

I had it bad once and did the prednisone thing and it works well.

Just got home from doctors office. She gave me a steroid shot in the butt and 5 prednisone pills. I haven't had a shot in the butt since i was about 5 yrs old.
