The trail is also routed to avoid DWA property.

Ive also parked right at the gate with no problem, although there is a little bit more of a parking area by the block building if there are a lot of cars.

Howdy Phil :)

Look forward to meeting you 8) The permits are covered.

As an FYI -- I'll start in shorts and tee-shirt and bring pants, fleece, lightweight gortex jacket, and Microspikes for the snow on the upper section of the trail. I may even wear knee high gaitors for the brushy section lower down. Will also have food for the whole hike and enough fluid to get to Hal.

If you'd like to contact me: EColemanRD@aol.com

Miles of smiles,
Ellen

I would like to join you folks on the Snow Creek hike. Sounds like nonstop fun! Thanks to the excellent directions, I can make my way to the starting point, so I plan on being there at 3:30, ready to go. Is the permit situation all set? Anything you need me to bring?

Thanks,
Phil

I'll be doing Skyline on Saturday. I haven't done it enough to be able to predict when I'll finish, but from the sounds of things I might be getting back to the tram at the same time you guys are. I have a small truck, so once I get my butt back to the museum I'm happy to come back to the tram and take a couple passengers and lots of gear to Snow Creek.

Howdy Stellar Jay :)

One of these days I hope to meet you when I'm not shattered. Unfortuantely, tomorrow doesn't look like that will be the day

Thanks for your kind shuttle offer -- I'm sure the faster folks will appreicate your help. I'll be bringing up the rear (um... guess I could say I'm the trail sweep...)

Howdy Jim :)

Well, I'm sure I'll be sporting some blood somewhere

Getting scraped up while hiking is catching on -- even Lilbitmo is now an official member of the Demonic Cougar Coleman Club
