Any Critters (Mountain Lions) on Skyline lately

Postby calicokat » Tue Nov 17, 2009 5:12 pm

Going to do the C2C (god willing) sometime this weekend. There is a good chance I will be solo, so, are there any reports of mountain lions? I know earlier in the year there were a few reports of stalking :o but what about recently....thanks again :)

Wouldn't mind seeing them, just no visits from Mr. Kitty Kat :o

If there are deer and sheep in an area, you can bet the mountain lions are in that area and keeping an eye on them. And since that's their main source of food, and its not in short supply, I wouldn't worry about them if I was going hiking in the area.

I dont think Im fast enough to really entice a cat. Like Tina mentioned, we did see 4 sheep and a few deer deer. Sheep at about 2500' and the deer on the 4000' ridge.
