Tina, thanks for the trash comment. I'm always surprised when i find empty water bottles along the trail. Hiking unmaintained trails like the Skyline means we all need to take care of it ourselves.

go ahead and litter if you want...some of us always seem to pick up your garbage anyway...except the frickin used tissues! whoever it is out there that goes up the trail blowing their nose with paper instead of their thumb, and then, drops the tissue right there on the trail all the way up, please carry a plastic bag for your trash. I'm sure this person can't be on this board... nevermind.

Are you sure they aren't toilet tissues?

I canceled my group outing for the 7th - My lungs and heart just aren't up for another C2C hike. I'll be looking forward to the trip reports after the big day.

We will miss seeing you Kathy :(
This would be a great trip for the Press Enterprise to cover. I bet they can get a good story out of it.

Latest update for everyone, spoke with some of the tram workers this weekend and they mentioned that the price of the tram has increased - one way- $12. on the upside they don't plan to charge people doing the back to back and/or triple twice. just hold on to your receipt and it will be good all day.

Cy: I heard the 7th might be your 300th Skyline? Is that true?
