BACK TO BACK

General Palm Springs area.

Hmmm. What to do on Sunday. Anybody wanna try going DOWN 3 times after going up 3 times on Saturday?

Perhaps a bit too diabolical?

:)

Ok, ok, I'm not really serious. Would be kinda cool though.

Skyline back to back

Postby Cy Kaicener » Sun Sep 20, 2009 7:33 am

It seems like Eric Sullivan holds the world record for the greatest total elevation gain climbed in 24 hours- 51,068 ft.
. This beats by far the six times up Mt Shasta about ten years ago.

Not to take anything away from Eric Sullivan, but I did notice that his record was done on skis.

Howdy Jim :)

You get the award for most humorous post I've read today

I have an idea:

Jim Bakos has offered to provide cinnamon rolls and coffee at Flat Rock on November 7. Perhaps Michiko can set up a therapy booth next to Jim Bakos' breakfast cafe. This brings to mind visions of Lucy from Peanuts with her "Advice" stand

Remember that Skyline-a-holics have to "want" to lead a normal life. I'm not yet ready to be free of the obession

As long as your Michiko's only "hobby," I concur with Lilbitmo -- don't worry.

Looking forward to baby news...

Miles of smiles,
Ellen

She has a particular concern for such poor unfortunates as may consider such a fool hardy thing. Her efforts have allowed many a Skyline-a-holic to lead a normal life. You too can be free of the obsession. Support groups forming soon.

Well, I thought lilbitmo's comeback was pretty good, but thanks. :)

No news yet. Just got back from the hospital. The latest tests are all good; everything normal. She's now one day overdue, but that's not too big of a deal for a first pregnancy. The doc says they'll induce labor in about a week if the baby doesn't come on its own. Keep us in your thoughts and prayers,

Just to get this straight, we are doing multiple Skyline's or multiple C2C's? I dunno if I want to do either  but this thread started with one objective and now I kinda got confused...
Either way (excuse the pun)...I'm in :D

Howdy Pup :)

The event on Nov 7 is back to back Skylines -- museum to tram. Tina has arranged transport from the lower tram station back to the museum.
