Any smoke/fire impacts of San Jacinto's desert side?

Any impacts on the desert side of the San Jacinto Mtns from the recent fires and the smoke?

I haven't been up that side of th hill in summertime in a few years, thought this weekend might be a good time to do the 'tourist' route since the Tram will be closing for its yearly maintenance period, and the State park might shut down, too.

No, it's fine here, although the views from higher elevations are/were impacted. Other than that, it's been very humid for the past 48 hours so be prepared to sweat!

Thanks Marknhj. Probably catch the first tram up on Sunday so I can beat the traffic on the trail.

Very, very light smoke down here by the OC beaches. The moon takes on a light orange glow as it rises and sets in the PM and AM (respectively) but its bright white most of the evening/early morning.
