Anybody know about the current water flow at Round Valley? Thinking about going here August 28-29. Thanks!

http://www.towncrier.com/hiking.html - says that Round Valley is the only campsite with piped water and recommends treating all water first.
Welcome to the San Jacinto forum Tarol. I remember your excellent informative website on Summitpost.
The phone numbers listed below on towncrier.com/hiking.html might be able to give you water flow rate that you seek.

Round Valley is generally pretty reliable but it can go dry in late season. I'd call the SJ State Park office, which is probably what those numbers are in Cy's posting. If you can get the number, the rangers in the station on the mountain usually are a better source than the rangers in HQ in Idyllwild.

Better still, perhaps we'll get a first hand account here on the forum ...

The ranger said there was probably still water at the Round Valley pipe... they didn't know for sure. So we'll be hoping for the best!
