Training schedule for Cactus 2 Clouds

Postby slaz007 » Sun Aug 09, 2009 10:36 pm

My girlfriend and I want to do the full hike. We are in pretty good shape. Ran a marathon without training to support a buddy.

We hope we need 2 months but any ideas or references would begreat. Thanks

What kind of hiking experience do you have? (How often do you hike, where do you hike, how steep, that sort of thing)

Vivian Creek to San Gorgonio and Bear Canyon to Mt. Baldy are good warm up hikes for C2C. If you don't have much hiking experience, try Mt. Baldy from Manker Flats, or some of the peaks in the Icehouse Canyon area.
